Remus Van Berkley

Remus was conceived via AI via Frozen semen on Australia Day 2005.  He was born Christmas day 2005.

His dam is Meinoedske DV - is a striking ster mare imported from the Netherlands. She stands 16.1hh and has a very beautiful face and great movement.  Before being expored from Holland, Meinoedske competed successfully in Dressage.  She has now started her dressage career here and Meinoedske is doing very well.

His sire is the magnificent Approved FPS breeding stallion Tije 401.  Tije has since been dissaproved on offspring only. He now resides in the USA and is has been given the sport predicate by the FPS.  Tije stands at 16.3hh and is  "the epitome of the breed. He has movement, beauty and intelligence that rivals that of any horse. Spectacular in every way, this is a once in a lifetime Friesian that anyone can handle, coupled with the majestic looks of a fairy tale horse. Simply the best!" as described by his owners

Remus arrived at Wallbrook on the 16th of July 2006.  He has a beautiful head and promises to be a tall, classic type stallion expressing the traditional luxurious race marks of the Friesian, superb movement, trainable temperament, with heaps of talant and lots of hair!  We look forward to developing this colt into a versitile stallion, undersaddle, in harness and anything else he shows talent in and we also look forward to planning his future breeding programme.
