Kestrels update page
What a super star!
For the first time to Tasmania the FPS Dutch judges came to assess Tasmanian Friesian horses. Kestrel was presented for studbook and a premium. She was also presented for a possible upgrad to STER. Only the top 5% of all friesian horses get ster - we knew she was good - but only the FPS can say how good!
Kestrel shone on the day - she was accepted into the studbook and received a Second premium and also was upgraded to Ster! We were over the moon. This makes Kestrel the FIRST Australian born Friesian mare to be awarded ster.
Kestrel is a very kind and gentle mare - she loves people, and is always wanting attention. She calls when she hear's us coming. She calls just to say hello! She is a beautiful mare that is dearly loved and adored by us.
What a dream come true!
Kestrel is Australias FIRST BORN STER MARE!
She is also the only daughter of FPS studbook stallion
ABE 346 in Australia.

ALREADY SHOWING THE MOST AMAZING MOVEMENT AND BEAUTIFUL TEMPERAMENT.
This SUPER trot got an amazing score of 8 at the keuring! Not many Friesians get this! Kestrel also got a 7.5 for her walk!
