Eitsje
Tasmania's First Pure Friesian Stallion is here!
On arrangement with Black Minx Stud in Victoria, we would like to introduce you to the Magnificent young Friesian Stallion Eitsje (pronounced Ay-sha).
This stallion is out of the magnificent imported ster mare Ulrika. This mare has certainly made her mark in the Friesian breeding programme of Australia. She gives her progeny the exotic racemarks of the Friesian horse and Eitsje is of no exception. Wallbrook are honoured to have her son with us and now we are also the proud owners of a grandaughter from this mare called Vamke.
Eitsje is by the FPS Approved Friesian Stallion Remmelt 323 who now resides in the USA and is excelling at dressage. Remmelt measures 16.1hh, is an impressively light but strong mover with the temperament of a gentleman. In Holland he competed against top national level warmbloods in Z2 Dressage. He also won the John Timmer driving award. Judges of the 1996 jury that approved him on offspring commented "Impressive heads", "nice fronts", "easy, light, tactful movement, with good freedom in the shoulder", "roomy walk", "nice front leg action, with the hind legs coming well under in the trot", "Remmelt is a very talented dressage horse, with a lot of radiance"
For us Eitsje is producing tall, elegant babies with beautiful heads, lovely temperaments and of course super movement.
Big, Black and Beautiful!
Eitsje temperament is astounding - his is kind, gentle and sincere. His children possess his calm, sensible nature and beautiful conformation.
Sadly, Eitsje has returned to Victoria and we miss him very much. He was a joy to handle and be with. He has produced some magnificent foals for us and we are most greatful to have had him in our lives.
We have 2 Foals by Eitsje currently for sale - please refer to our sales page. We have also successfully bred Floortje to Eitsje before he returned to Victoria for a September 2008 foal. Eitsje has enabled us to offer buyers superior quality foals, posessing superior movement, unique beautiful looks and temperament.
